NexTech Materials, Ltd.
NexTech Materials is developing cutting edge technology in solid oxide fuel cells and related areas. As an example, they have a demonstrated life of over 40,000 hours at 750°C for low cost ferritic steel interconnect components protected by their proprietary manganese-cobalt spinel (MCO) coatings.
NexTech provides proprietary ceria-supported precious metal catalysts for steam reforming of hydrocarbons. PEMFC users can also benefit from our water-gas-shift catalyst products. Beyond ceria-based catalysts, NexTech is developing low precious metal content catalysts for catalytic partial oxidation (CPOx) and steam reforming.
NexTech’s sensor products are available through NTM Sensors. The company currently sells hydrogen sensors for PEM fuel cell systems. The sensor meets all requirements for use in Class l, Division 2 and Zone 2 hazardous locations per the UL60079-15 and EN60079-15 standards, and has been officially certified by the Underwriters Laboratories (UL). NexTech is also developing hydrogen sulfide sensor for both PEMFC and SOFC systems.
NexTech’s standard products are available through www.fuelcellmaterials.com.
