Based in Southern California, the Otto H. Rosentreter Company (OHR Energy) is a power development company and a design-build engineering firm that provides turnkey, renewable energy systems for commercial, government, and utility customers.  Their mission is to reduce our customers’ energy costs, alleviate our dependence on foreign oil, preserve our country’s valuable resources and make our environment a cleaner place to live.

OHR Energy has been in business for over 55 years, historically serving the foundry industry.  Over a decade ago, the company began to broaden its services by looking for alternatives to lower energy costs and found that emerging renewable technologies combined with state and federal financial incentives achieved that goal. Today, OHR is able to evaluate its customers’ current electricity needs and deliver a completed fuel cell and/or a solar array project, from the financing and permitting to the design and installation.

OHR has completed major projects for universities, manufacturing plants, the hospitality industry and local municipalities.  Their commitment to quality on renewable energy projects has earned them awards in electrical excellence from the NECA, project achievement awards from the CMAA as well as recognition from the “Energy Leaders of Today”.  Currently, OHR has installed more fuel cells in California than any other renewable energy company.
