PCI has successfully built and tested a full-scale (250 kWe) fuel processor for desulfurized naval fuels for high temperature PEM fuel cells for shipboard application.  The company is currently testing a 5kWth bench scale heat integrated steam reformer at elevated pressure and with a partner currently testing a 10kWe SOFC based system. PCI’s technologies include liquid-based Autothermal Reforming (ATR), Catalytic Steam Reforming (CSR), and gaseous Catalytic Partial Oxidation (CPOX) fuel reforming. Other products include anode gas oxidizers and fuel cell system inerting oxidizers.
